Hi, my name is Olivia Dumnicka.
I'm a product designer, strategist and marketer.
Currently based in Berlin.
Focus
My mission as a designer is to forge joyful connections between brands and users. Making UX be at the heart of a brand's service and identity.
With a background in branding and economics and a deep understanding of user psychology I bring a unique perspective to design, using storytelling to forge emotional connections.
In my free time, I work on personal ventures (checkout swai.social) and mentor aspiring product designers and marketers.

StartSteps
As a Product Designer for StartSteps I helped with UI/UX design and UX research for their CRM tool (TalentStart). I am also a Product Design Coach at StartSteps helping people from non-tech background transition into tech and career of UI/UX or Product Design.
Rentr
I helped Rentr early stage fashion swapping app with their rebrand, app and web designs and overall strategy.
Ynertia
I was a fractional consultant at Ynertia - procurement services platform. Helping with overall design and product strategy.
Level Ethics AI
EU commission project that aims to fight AI bias. As a consultant I helped Level Ethics AI with website improvements, growth and communication strategy.
Lessgo
I was a Lead Designer and first hire at Lessgo, an offline social network that was connecting strangers for different activities. I was responsible for developing the whole design process and branding of the product.
Personal Projects
SWAI
I am a co-founder of SWAI - a Creator Economy agency and a platform for content creators and brands to collaborate.
Phono
Using a no-code app I build a market place platform for DJ bookings that connected DJ's with event organisers. Platform attracted 50+ Berlin based DJ's. Successfully completing few bookings.
Boo chah
In 2020 during the peak of lockdowns I developed my own kombucha brand. The brew was special, because it was based on Mate tea leaves. I brewed over 100's of bottles, gifting mostly to friends. It was too complicated to start a beverage company.
Product Design Advocate
Apart from being a product design coach, I also share my knowledge on medium.com breaking down complex topics or sharing hacks with fellow designers.
Traveling the World
I always dreamed of traveling the world and living in different places. So far I lived in: Berlin, London, Warsaw and briefly in Barcelona and Shanghai.
To date I visited 46 countries and counting.
